Inserting Images

Hi, Thank you for the change to the filtering in the admin area. I have another question.

I was wondering why when after you click on “add an image” and upload the image, there is not a link “Insert into post”. You have to go over to the Media Library tab, show the image and then insert it from there. It’s a little confusing for users since it’s different from how you do it in posts and pages.

This is a wordpress issue: in 3.1 there’s a new filter (get_media_item_args) where I can control the appearance of this button, but for now you need to live with it

Hello, as requested in the WP forums, I am posting this issue here as well.

I am now experiencing this issue with the latest version of WP (3.3.1) and EME (1.0.2) — there is no “Insert into Post” button within the media interface for EME. There is only a “Use this image” option (which doesn’t seem to perform any function).

Hi, I just tested this here: I’m using 3.3.1 and latest EME and when clicking “upload/insert” I can choose an image to upload (or from the media gallery) and just click ‘insert into post’ just fine.
