LINKEDNAME not linking

It probably isn’t a bug, it’s probably something I have done whist trying to re-style the events list page.

Issue is here http://www.whitnashssc.com/?page_id=860&event_id=7

As you will see the linked name appears to function correctly, but both from the events page, called fixtures in this case, and from the sidebar widget the event does not load. The url in the address bar appears to show the correct event ids but the page just stays the same. If you go to another page on the site, not event related, then the same thing happens, the url in the address bar changes but the event does not load.

Can anybody help?

I have tried uninstallin the plug in and re installing. I have delete my attempt at eme.css. But I must have missed something somewhere.

Is the setting “Events page” in the EME settings page correct?

Otherwise: it might be another plugin doing url control or so (some SEO plugins do this), so try disabling all other plugins and see if it works then.

Deactivated everything. I don’t have an events page set, I am just using the short code. The only thing i have tinkered with id the CSS both style.CSS and the CSS fr events manager, but i cant see how this as resulted in this problem.

You need an events page, even if it’s hidden in the menu, you need it. It’s the page that’s being used to render the event info. I’ve looked around on your site, and I believe this is the case. Create a page called ‘Events’ (or whatever), don’t show it in the menu. Then go into EME settings and use that page in the setting “Events page”

Thanks chap, that has sorted it. That’ll teach me to go around trying to amke changes and not write them down.
