InactiveIf you click on an event or location link in the bottom right of the homepage (http://50.87.147.114/~mecahc/) or on the events page (http://50.87.147.114/~mecahc/events/) you’ll see that it doesn’t link to the event or location, but instead pulls in posts (http://50.87.147.114/~mecahc/news-updates/). I know that it was working a half hour ago because I was on an event page and it was fine. What I’ve done since then: updated four plugins and changed a bit of text for the “No events message.” Thinking that it was a problem caused by a plugin update, I deactivated ALL plugins other than EME and the problem persists. I also tried deactivating and reactivating EME (problem persists) and switching to a default WP theme (problem persists). I do not have a n events page set (the pulldown reads “please select a page”) because http://50.87.147.114/~mecahc/events/ uses a short code to display the list. Thinking that this was somehow a problem (even though events were showing fine before), I added a page and designated it as the Events page, but the problem persists (I have since set the Events page back to “please select a page” and removed that page).

KeymasterSee the doc: http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=8
And see the remarks concerning permalinks when changing that option
Btw: the next version will throw an error when the events page is not set correctly.

InactiveAh, I went to the WP Permalinks settings page, clicked “save” (without changing anything) and now the events pages work. Go figure.
Thanks!

InactiveHello Franky. Love the plugin. I use on several websites. I am having the same problem with the dynamic page not populating. When I use the shortcode, I get events list. When I click single event, nothing. I think there is something in my template causing the issue. In the EME settings, I set the theme loop protection to the last resort. Still no luck. If I use short code, I can see the event.
I’m not sure if this helps, but after I click, the title of the page is recognized, however, it still will not show content.
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Here are the events pages:

KeymasterIs your events page set in the EME settings? Read this:

InactiveYes, my events page is set and it’s blank. It is selected under settings. The page name is “Events”.

KeymasterIf you think the theme is at error: try with the default theme.
If it works then, it is indeed a theme problem. If it is a wordpress supported free theme, tell me which one and I’ll take a look.
I do no longer support any non-supported or commercial themes, since non-supported themes are …well: not supported. And for commercial themes you can ask your theme creator. I already encountered way too much bad themes that “just happen to work”, but are not correctly functioning and are using bad wordpress calls (most of them commercial themes even).
If it doesn’t work with the default theme: try resetting your permalink settings to the default, press “save” and then switch them back to the original setting. That helps in case of permalinks mismatches. -
