Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Listing events by start time only
I would like to modify the event listing in a way that it lists events by start day and time only. In my event calendar, there is lot of events that will end quite late in the night (clubs and gigs). And now, if I look the listing for todays events, there also those events that started yesterday night and ended early todays morning, like 04.00 AM.
Wich document should I modify and what would be the best way to do that.
TIA

You should just change the formatting setting for the Event list, that’s all. No code needs to be changed, every layout is possible via the settings.
That’s something I expected, but I’m still stucked with this. I believe that we are talkin about “Default event list format” and mine says
Date: #j #M #Y – Time: #_24HSTARTTIME
But because the field of the ending date fills automaticly (if the event goes past midnight) it shows these events next day too. What I try to do is to get rid of those past events.

P.S. Ther is no shortcode like #_STARTDATE ?
I see, for this I believe you want to use the option “long_events=0” for the [events_list] shortcode
