I built a site a few months ago for a client, and everything was working correctly. In fact, I have a local version of the site still running that works perfectly. It looks like something was modified in one of the recent updates that stopped my location page from loading the list correctly.
On my venues page, I have this shortcode: [events_locations]
Under my EME location settings, I have the following:
<div class=”fourcol first”>#_LOCATIONIMAGE</div>
<div class=”eightcol last”><h2>#_LOCATIONNAME</h2><p><span class=”ctp-info”>Address</span> #_ADDRESS, #_TOWN</p><p>#_LOCATIONDETAILS</p></div>
But for some reason, this is what the venue page returns:
http://classicaltheatreproject.ca/2013/school-trips/venues/
Has anyone else been having any issues with this?
Version 1.1.3 seems to work, but I tried updating the plugin to 1.2.4 on the local version I’m running, and it gave me the same error.
Fri 31 Jan 2014 at 18:32 #51145FrankyKeymasterWell … the resulting html code seems ok to me (the page shows 1 location in a list, using the classes you mentioned above). How many venues do you have, or what do you expect?

Tue 11 Feb 2014 at 15:30 #51147AnonymousInactiveSorry. For some reason I was never notified about your reply on here.
I’ve gone back to the version 1.1.3 of the plugin on the live site (http://classicaltheatreproject.ca/2013/school-trips/venues/) and it’s working fine. But here it is on the test server we were using, with the plugin updated to 1.2.5:
http://ctp.oxagency.ca/school-trips/venues/
I noticed in the EME Settings, under the Locations tab, there’s a hint at the bottom of the “Default location list item format” section that says “The format of a location in a location list. If you leave this empty, the value <li class=”location-#_LOCATIONID”>#_LOCATIONNAME will be used.
See the documentation for a list of available placeholders for locations.”
Although, I have populated that box with content, and I have included the shortcode on the Venue page itself.

Tue 11 Feb 2014 at 17:52 #51149AnonymousInactiveThanks! Looking forward to your response.
Tue 11 Feb 2014 at 19:20 #51150FrankyKeymasterOk, it’s a bug introduced some weeks ago (since 1.2.1)
Fixed here:
Tue 11 Feb 2014 at 20:02 #51151AnonymousInactiveAwesome. Has this been updated in the latest release of the plugin found here:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/events-made-easy/
Or should I go in and make the changes myself?
Tue 11 Feb 2014 at 20:52 #51152FrankyKeymasterIt’s not in the released version yet. So either make the changes yourself, wait for the next release or – as a workaround – use the new template options for the eme_locations shortcode.
