Make simple fields instead of textarea for attributes

After the plugin update, fields that used to be regular input fields are now textarea in the frontend form (the attributes).

Since the design of my page was 2-column, and it was styled with to css to fit nicely, now I have this issue where elements are falling apart.

Is there a way to revert these textareas to be simple input fields for attributes?

The defaut was in fact always textarea, it was a bug that it was shown as text.
