Hi there
I have a calendar with mostly single day events. There is one multi-day event. The multi day event won’t show the day range in any of the listings. I’ve updated the plugin and am running version 1.9.2 and WP ver 4.6.6. Checking ‘This event lasts all day’ has no effect on how the listing is displayed. On the calendar view it only highlights the square for the first day of the event. List view also only displays the first day of event.A secondary issue is that after updating, I can`t edit or add events when using Chrome. It works using FF though.
Any advice? I would appreciate any tips.
Thanks a bunch, Mary-LynneWed 30 Aug 2017 at 22:55 #56482FrankyKeymasterUse [eme_calendar long_events=1] in a regular page. See the doc: http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/6-shortcodes/eme_calendar/
Concerning adding/editing events: what is the chrome javascript console telling you?Wed 30 Aug 2017 at 23:58 #56483AnonymousInactiveHi Franky
Thank you so much for responding so quickly!I added the long_events=1 to the [eme_calendar] shortcode and that made it display. Thank you!
I also added it to the shortcode for [eme_events long_events=1 scope=future limit=0 category=1 ] The
‘This event lasts all day’ is checked for the event but it displays in a list as only one day and beginning at 12:00am. I’ve cleared my cache multiple times but it doesn’t help. Am I missing something?Thank you very much!
Mary-LynneThu 31 Aug 2017 at 17:32 #56488FrankyKeymasterIndeed, it seems that for eme_events the option doesn’t seem to be working as advertised. I’ll check this out.

Thu 31 Aug 2017 at 17:43 #56490FrankyKeymasterOk, it seems that (currently) long_events=1 for [eme_events] only works if you have the period-option too. I’ll check that out this evening (shouldn’t be too difficult to change).

Thanks for your work on this. I did download your new eme_events.php file and uploaded it to the plugin folder. It made the events and new event control panels empty in the both Chrome and Firefox.
I restored to the previous file and everything came back for editing in Firefox.
I’m not sure how to use the Console for javascript debugging, but here is part of what it shows to be the error on the ‘All events’ panel: jQuery(…).timeEntry is not a functionand for the Add new panel: ReferenceError: google is not defined.
Let me know if there is other information I should gather and send to you.
Thank you very much!

I updated the plugin with ver 1.9.3 and have found an odd thing. The three day event, is now showing up in the list three times but all with the first day date. The event is When Faith Meets Pedagogy Conference:
.
Do you have any advice?
Thanks for your hard work,
Mary-LynneSun 3 Sep 2017 at 00:38 #56502FrankyKeymasterThat is not a strange thing, but it acts as ask it: you ask to show the start date, and the start date is the first day. You can also show the end date if you want and even use conditional tags to check if the end date is different from the start date and only then show it.
