Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Multiple Categories
Hi, I created 2 categories (1 & 2) so that I can have 2 calendars and for some reason, both calendars are displaying the same events?
I’m using the following shortcode:
[events_calendar category=1]
[events_calendar category=2]
oops, the code is actually this:
[events_calendar full=1 category=1 long_events=1]
[events_calendar full=1 category=2 long_events=1]
to be investigated
thanks Franky. also, just so you know I’m using wordpress 3.2.1 and events manager extended 4.0.1
also, on a side note, we are getting the following error and not sure why?
Warning: the plugin ‘Events Management Extended’ is being renamed to ‘Events Made Easy’. To switch to the renamed plugin: just deactivate the plugin ‘Events Management Extended’ and download and activate the new plugin ‘Events Made Easy’.
This means you’re using a version from trunk, not the released 4.0.1. It means exactly what it says, nothing more nothing less (and the 4.0.2 version will have this message for everybody).
Since you’re using trunk, I would advise you to upgrade to the latest trunk version and see if that fixes your problem. Download it here (called “Development version”): http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/events-manager-extended/download/
Tried it here and it seems to work just fine
franky, we installed the development version and it still didn’t work. I created 2 events by having one categorized to calendar #1 and the other event categorized to calendard #2 and it still list both in both calendars.
I was going to send you a screen shot but it doesn’t look like i can using this utility. Any other ideas?
send me the admin details of your wordpress, so I can take a look: liedekef@telenet.be
