Newbie issues

I’ve been digging thru the FAQ unsuccessfully.

1) Are there some example set ups you could point me to as a WordPress newbie?

2) I’ve set up a fairly basic events for a church website and implemented EME:

3) I’m a bit confused as whether I should use the default “events” page or should set up a new page say “diary” and use the short code [events_list].

I’ve tried both. Both seem to do the same thing and have the same limitation. They only show the next 10 events. Is it possible to show all the event on the events page. In my case its: http://www.emmanuel.org.hk/events/

I’ve just entered all the events to June….

4) On the right hand widget area is there a short code to take you to the events page? in my case http://www.emmanuel.org.hk/events/

#_EVENTPAGEURL doesn’t seem to do it for me. My alternative is to change

(Directions) to (Directions) … I thought there may be a #_ short code?

5) With the image that you can associate with the Google map – could you tell me the width of the Google Map (4??px). I’d like to resize my location images to bethe same size as the Goolge map. see: http://www.emmanuel.org.hk/locations/4/emmanuel-church-pokfulam/
