I don’t recommend touching the code for the general map, since it’s all jquery. Add your searches around it in the contant of the page.

But if you want: look in eme_locations.php and eme_location_map.js

the shortcode #_map display a map we can customize, we can change the baloons, the info displayed etc..

but we can’t do the same for the general map

can I try it on live website or is it too recent?

it is recent, but it should work. Just make a backup of the original eme_location_map.js, so you can revert in 1 minute if it doesn’t work. And it’s only the javascript file, so it doesn’t change anything at all, if it doesn’t work the only thing that happens will be that the map doesn’t show then.
