    Recently, EME has been looping back to the Events page. It isn’t going to the individual events, but when clicked on event or date, it loops to the Events page (Events-3). Stopped showing the specific events and started showing the various events, but show the events page.

    I guess there’s something wrong with your SEO permalink rules. Deactivate them (set to default and “save”) and then reactivate them.
    Also, disable/re-enable EME might help too.
    Also: does the event page pointed to by EME (in its settings page) still exist?

    I disabled my seo plugins,
    than …
    deactivated and reactivated eme and it now works.
