RSS displays old events

The RSS feature does not respond as I’d like to the “scope” option specified here:
http://www.fbcwillingboro.org/wp/?eme_rss=main&scope=today–next_month&order=ASC&category=&author=&contact_person=&limit=0&location_id=&title=

It conjures up recurring entries from months past. We’re using WordPress 4.1.1 and EME 1.5.28. Let me know if there’s anything further I can try, thank you.

To be sure: are your events correctly configured? For one event I see this for example:

AWANA Clubs
Monday 31 March 2014 21:33
Friday, Oct 10 – 07:25 pm

I’m guessing you messed up the event beginning and end date (as indicated: in case of a recurring event, the event beginning/end dates only indicate the duration of the event; the recurrence begin/end date indicate when the recurrence begins and ends)
