Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › RSVP submit yields a blank white page & unsucessful rsvp on backend.
Tagged: RSVP
Hello,
I’m not sure what is wrong but I can’t see anything in the settings that would cause this behavior. When a user clicks on the Submit button on any of our events, a blank white page is returned and nothing else occurs. On the backend, when I check to see if the rsvp worked, it is unsuccessful. The email is not sent out either. Any suggestions as to what this might be? This is a link to an event as an example: http://lpvc.org/eventsidevent-name/60/annual-holiday-party/
If you fill out the rsvp form you’ll find it isn’t working. What can I do to fix this?
Do you have any custom WP action filters or hooks defined (e.g. in your theme)? Check your webserver logs to see what happens last as well, maybe some php error is found in there.
I’m using the “Suffusion” theme and haven’t defined any action filters or hooks. Actually, I don’t even know what those are!
Thank you for the quick reply Franky! This must be a labor of love for you!
Anyway, I’ll talk to someone about the php error/logs to see if I can get anywhere with that. I haven’t any idea how to do that.
I just checked your site again, and it seems something is wrong with the rewrite rules. The url of the event details is:
http://lpvc.org/eventsidevent-name/60/annual-holiday-party/
but for the location it is:
http://lpvc.org//23/aloha-steak-house/
==> it seems to me something is wrong with the EME setting “Events page”. Correct that and also: regenerate the rewrite rules by visting the WP SEO settings and press “save” there again.
