Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Same short code is different on different sites.
Hi,
I’m using this code “[events_list]” to display the event info on two different sites.
However, the formatting of the result is completely different.
I’m wondering how I can make the look of the one site match the look of the other.
URL of the one I like: http://mebschooloftransformation.com/event-test/
URL of the one I don’t: http://mindenergybodyinstitute.com/event-test/
As far as I am able to determine, all of the settings on both sites are identical.
I’ve read through several posts, but did not see a reference to this same type of issue and I don’t understand a lot of what I’m reading anyway.
Any ideas?
Your CSS is different for the two sites. Disable the “float: left” for http://mebschooloftransformation.com/event-test/ results in the same layout for both, so I assume adding it for the other one will result in the same as well.
Ok, thank you for that, if I’m understanding you correctly that deals with the style issue which is great.
However, there are two other issues that I don’t understand.
Issue 1:
The order in which the information appears i.e.
Title
Time
Location
v.s.
Time
Title
Location
Issue 2:
One of them is displaying in 24 hour time and one is displaying in 12 hour time.
I looked everywhere for a setting to control these, but I can’t find it.
Check the setting “Default event list format”
Thank you very much!!!
