    As seen here, I would really appreciate if you would add a scope feature to display events from a certain date to a set number of days / months / years.

    For example:
    -7d–YYYY-MM-DD
    YYYY-MM-DD++1m

    This would allow us to be able to use a shortcode such as [eme_events limit=1 notcategory=2+8+9 order=DESC scope=-7--#Y-#m-#d] on a single event page and display additional information from other events.

    The way that I will use it will be here. When a user selects an available date in the future to register, before he fills out the RSVP form, he will be presented with information concerning where I will be traveling from the previous week. (Example) This would be a great asset logistically!

    I will be more than willing to sponsor this feature implementation.

    Thank you for considering!

    Don’t know how “Tagged: scope” got in the thread title… must have been a copy / paste error on my part… 🙂

    Just sent a small donation, but plan to donate more when you have time to add this feature. Give me a rough estimate of how long it takes you to add this and I’ll get you a donation that is fitting for you time spent.

    Thanks for the great plugin!

    Your suggestion concerning the format is a bit confusion, so I created this:
    relative-Xd–YYYY-MM-DD
    and
    YYYY-MM-DD–relative+Xd

    with X a number of days. Months is a bit useless if your event starts halfway: should I take the length of the current month, next month … so: only day offset

    Works great!

    This is a huge help – thank you!

    How long did you work on this?

    1 or 2 hours, most of the time just thinking about the syntax and testing 🙂
