Select by category and date

Hi there,

thanks for the great work. I have to solve a problem using EME, I did not find a solution here.

I would like to offer my users the following possibilites: On the events page (www.havenlog.de/veranstaltungen) the user shall see all events but also have the chance to select by date and/or category right above the events list. A search would also be nice.

So there is

Veranstaltungen

Filter by: Date (user, if not specified from today)

Filter by: Catogory (user, if not specified all)

Search by your Terms: Searchfield

Event list

I am not familiar with theme writing or php so I do neet help.

The next version will have a select possibility, and the search can be implemented via the method described here:

But – the filter is not filtering my entries. I build my site with the new form and the autogenerated content. Do I have to use the [event_list] shortcode?
