    Is there a way to send a confirmation mail to the person who sent an event through frontend form?

    We do not have RSVP, booking or payments … we just want to send a confirmation email to the users who sent an event saying that we’ve received it and will do the review before publishing it.

    Is that possible?

    Why not just use the success-page for that? That setting is meant for this.

    we already use the success-page, but it would be great if we could inform the user via email also.

    That’s only possible by using a hook in EME, not in the frontend submit form. See the eme doc on hooks and filters for that.
