Show events for upcoming week.

I would like to show the events for the next week so the next 7 events. If there is no event for a day, I would like to just have it give me an option for a default “No events on this day” or to not show that particular day. I also don’t like the fact that it injects dates or the “eme_period”.

Is there any way I can do this?

just use “limit=7” then or so. I’ll try to add logic to it like this: “next x days”, “next x weeks”, “next x months” later on

Thats great and all but I need this to work on a sidebar widget area. I tried the shortcode in the widget for “text” but it doesn’t work. Any ideas how I can do that?

Activate the setting “Enable shortcodes in widgets” in the EME settings page.

Thanks for that! Now the shortcode is working. HOwever it’s doing what it should and only showing days with events. I would like to show even days that dont have events with a message of “no event” or something. What file can I add that to?

Seems like it would be very possible. Do you just mean, you don’t want me digging around in the code and mucking something up? Would you add this to come or why is this not possible?

For now I’m not adding this as a feature, but what I meant was “it’s not possible in the current code”. You’re of course free to fiddle around.
