Events Made Easy › Forums › How do I … › Single Event on an extra page or post
Hi there,
at the moment we just have the opportunity to publish a new event on the events page, where all events are listed.
In our special case, we’d like to publish an event on an extra page, too. For example:
The events page is called “Events”.
There is another page called “Lessons”. Here we describe what lessons are and we’d like to list all the events of a certain category (named “lessons”). Furthermore we want the events of this category to be under the “lessons”-level in the menu. Right now, we have to link to the existing events (such as “www.bla.com/events/6/lesson-for-beginners”). Is there a possibilty to use a shortcode or something like that, so we have “www.bla.com/lessons/lesson-for-beginners” without copyying all the stuff from the actual event?
Did anyone understand what I mean? 😀
Btw: Sorry for my bad English…
See this doc on the special events page:

You need to use shortcodes [eme_events] and/or [eme_event] with their respective options:

Franky
You make a new page with title “Lesson for beginners” and you put the shortcode [eme_events] in the page content.
In your case I think you must to use “category” like “Beginners” and add the parameter “category” in your shortcode.
Thank you!
@franky: This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
