Tagged: recurring
When viewing a MONTHLY recurring event tabular information on an event that is defined to recur between (July 2017 => July 2018).
(like 2nd Thursday of the Month), etc.. the latest version shows a strange output
Date and Time (column)
December 14, 2017 – December 15, 2018 <== 2018????
8:00 pm – 9:30 pm
The event still seems to be December 14th, 2017, people can register… but the database and data presentation shows as if it runs from December 2017 to 2018.
Drilling down into ONE of the recurring dates (December 14th, 2017) without modifying or touching the recurring event (July 2017 to July 2018)… shows this
Event date
12/14/2017 12/15/2018
The event beginning and end date.
Notice the “Event Date” display in the drill down has a RANGE.. It seems like it should have the first field show 12/14/2017 and the 2nd field either disabled or also showing Dec 14th, 2017… This is an 8-9:30PM event (not an “all day” event)
Read this remark for the event start/end date:
In case of a recurrent event, use the beginning and end date to just indicate the duration of one event in days. The real start date is determined by the recurrence scheme being used.
