Events Made Easy › Forums › Generic › Strange interaction with Custom Widget and Custom Sidebar plugins
Tagged: custom sidebar, custom widget
I am using Weaver 2010 with a right & left equal width sidebar. I have a custom widget in my secondary widget area (right sidebar) called Related Organizations. I have the EME calendar and Events List in my primary widget area (left sidebar.) When you click on an event listing to view the single event page, the information on that page also shows up on my right sidebar where my Related Organizations widget should be. I tried using the Custom Sidebar plugin instead of the Custom Widget plugin, and the same thing occurs. If I delete the Custom Widget or Sidebar from my secondary widget area, the event details are no longer repeated in the right sidebar, so I think this must be some kind of interaction between EME and the Custom Widget or Sidebar plugins. Any fixes?
My site is here: http://beta.thomasmemoriallibrary.org/
I did try deactivating and deleting EME, with the Delete All EME Data option checked, and then reinstalling, but the problem still occurs (even with the sample events that come with EME.)
Thanks for any help you can offer!
mail me the widget, I’ll take a look at it: liedekef@telenet.be
