Sudden error sending emails

Hello,

We’re suddenly having users get “Warning: there was a problem sending you the registration mail, please contact the site administrator to sort this out” and we get something similar on the backend when confirming registrations “The action has been executed successfully but there were some problems while sending mail.”

No updates/changes- is this something being caused on our server end, it’s all of a sudden.

Well .. it is what it says it is: the mails are not being sent due to problems.
To test:
– activate smtp mail debugging (if you use smtp as mail sending method)
– do a test mail in the “send mails” window from EME and observe the problem …
– disable smtp mail debugging again
