Hi, usually I copy the template code to my code editor to have the syntax highlighted to make sure I don’t do any mistakes. But the steps of copying, saving, than copying back and saving again is a bit tiresome.
I have tried to install a wp plugin “HTML Editor Syntax Highlighter” to streamline my templates editing process. But it seems like the plugin doesn’t seem to detect your textareas. It does detect PLugin editor or style editor well.
Now I don’t know if I should contact them to detect the textareas in your plugin or to contact you to allow their approach of textarea detection.
If I should contact them, just tell me. I will ask them.
Looking at that syntax highlighting plugin, it says “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest three major releases of WordPress”, so I can’t start supporting it. So for now I have to say: please contact that plugin editor.
