    Would be great to have a widget with a map that shows the different locations. When location is clicked loads the individual page for the venue.

    Do you mean a sidebar widget with a list of locations? Or just the shortcode [locations_map] (which is there already)?

    Sidebar widget that shows all the locations on a map so you can click on the location and it brings you to the locations page.

    Then put this shortcode in a text widget: [locations_map] (with any and all available options this shortcode supports) and activate the option “Enable shortcodes in widgets”
