Viewing Individual Events Results in 404 Page Not Found – Please Help!

Hi-

Everything on my site works fine except for viewing individual EME events. This was working until I did some upgrades. I didnt change any settings, I dont think. I can view lists of events and the EME events page, but not an individual event. I can create, edit and duplicate events.

From there, you can click on any of the individual events and you will get a 404.

I upgraded: from WP 3.9 to 4.4, EME to 1.63, and PHP from 5.2.x to 5.3.x. It’s hosted on GoDaddy.

I have these plugins:
bbPress Version 2.5.8
iThemes Security Version 5.1.1 (not activated)
Lightbox Plus Colorbox Version 2.7.2
Page Links To Version 2.9.6
Quttera Web Malware Scanner Version 2.0.7
Recent Facebook Posts Version 2.0.8
Wordfence Security Version 6.0.22

I have been lookng around for conflicts or something that would prohibit this from working correctly, but I havent been able to find it.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Try going into your permalink settings (WP settings subsection) and choose “default”, press save, choose your old setting and press save again. See if that solves it for you.
If that doesn’t work, try to deactivate all security plugins and try again.

I changed it from “Day and Name” to “Plain” ( there was not a setting called default – I’m guessing that “Plain” is the default). Saved it. Changed it back to Day and Name and saved it. Voila!
